Conservation Educator
Joshua York
Miami University Instruction
Beginning in January of 2013, Joshua became a part of Project Dragonfly's team, facilitating a variety of classes focused on the study and application of Conservation Biology. Our students are formal and informal educators, with a lot of influence in their community. Project Dragonfly helps prepare students in becoming Conservation Leaders by giving them the tools and knowledge to get their community members up and active in conservation efforts. To date, Joshua has instructed 5 Baja courses, 1 Costa Rica course, 1 Belize course, 1 Galapagos course, 3 Paraguay courses, 5 courses on Biodiversity, and 2 courses on Conservation Science and Community. Joshua will be instructing in Paraguay for the summer of 2019.
Earth Expedition Courses: Students from across the planet gather for one of the most epic journeys of their lives! Watch as these incredible conservationists come together and not only learn about themselves, but also discover the power they possess to build the world's Culture of Conservation.
